Kids and Diversity: Nature vs Nurture

Let's keep it simple, our children are not born Racist.  However, as our youth become exposed through discrimantory parental nurturing practices, the emergence of peer pressure, external incidences/occurrences and the onset of their own free will, we can conclude that there are plenty of opportunities for the virus of Racism, Prejudice and Discrimination to emerge.

Associates for Inclusion consultants have worked with hundreds of middle and high school students regarding disparaging comments and actions they've made across the spectrum of protected classes with a careless disregard and misunderstanding about the impacts of their actions.

It must be understood that although Millennials, as a group, may be more tolerant of specific elements of discrimination, such as race, LGBTQ etc., they all to often demonstrate discrimination in other respects, for example: age, seniors' lack of technological savvy, disabilities and so on - we can help!
